Established as a biker friendly pub in the sixties and central to the famous May Day biker rally. The Carlisle has become known for its free live music, mostly Rock, Metal and Punk. Recently revamped to allow the pub to host bigger band nights.

What’s On W/C 14.3.16

What a corker of a week we have for you this week! Live music starts on Thursday with Ex- iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley joining us for a very special intimate gig before he heads off to Europe on his Infinine Entanglement Tour 2016. In suport of Blaze we have London metallers Dethonator – Tickets are £5 in advance via our webpage or the bar. £7 on the door – doors are 7.30pm ….
On Friday the 18th we are delighted to welcome Vicous Nature who are also calling in to gig on their way to Europe- and in support we have Forged In Black who are launching their new album . Finally on Saturday 19th we have Xerosun, female fronted metallers from Ireland with Kinasis in support – so we think you will agree- a great week of music lies ahead!
