Established as a biker friendly pub in the sixties and central to the famous May Day biker rally. The Carlisle has become known for its free live music, mostly Rock, Metal and Punk. Recently revamped to allow the pub to host bigger band nights.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us and the many bands who have played in 2018. 2019 promises to be a corker of a year for live music in The Carlisle. Not only do we have returning faves such as Malagodi, Sacrilege, Black Rose Thin Lizzy and Motorpace, we have so much more – from Tributes to The Sweet and AC/DC and Velvet Revival, loads of punk and our New Breed Fridays…We have a great year coming your way !
